Wit
Written by Margaret Edson
Directed by Donna Foley, 2004
Stage 1 Theatre, Newark, CA
Role: Dr. Jason Posner, a research fellow brilliant at the mechanics of medicine, but distinctly lacking in the skills of being a feeling human being. He is much like his patient, in that regard.
Witness for the Prosecution
Written by Agatha Christie
Directed by Karen S. Leonard, 2002
Stage 1 Theatre, Newark, CA
Role: John Mayhew, crusty solicitor with a heart. Leonard Vole hires him in the hopes of being acquitted of murder. This is the second time round for me with this play. Different character, however.

Written by Ira Levin
Directed by Candi Pickering, 2000
Pacifica Spindrift Players, Pacifica, CA
Role: Young Man. What a fantastic experience this was! Never pass up the chance to play a charming, sociopathic necrophiliac! If you've ever seen Rosemary's Baby, Deathtrap or The Stepford Wives, you know what kind of twisted stuff Ira Levin turns out. A darling little old couple invites a young girl back to their house to show a her picture of a deceased relative: "You're the spittin' image of this girl I once knew...." But before long, it gets just a little strange. Imprisonment, insanity, betrayal, murder, incest - this story makes so many twists that you're never quite sure what, or who, you're seeing.

Role: Leonard Vole, a murderous gold-bricker who worms his way into an old woman's heart (and her will) before bashing her on the back of the head. He's put on trial for her murder and is ultimately acquitted, only to receive a rather sharp form of justice at the hand of his bitter, betrayed wife.
The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas
Written by Carol Hall
Directed by T.J. Weltzein, 1997
Stagebrush Theatre, Scottsdale, AZ
Roles: Aggie #11. The show that turned me into a dancer! At least for a couple of months. I've never worked so hard in my life to accomplish something that seemed so impossible, but I tell you: what an amazing feeling to see it happen. Not only that, but I did it wearing only cowboy boots and jockey shorts in front of a full house for three weeks. Throw in a little bit of barbershop, a short solo, and the most warm, dear cast I've ever worked with.... What a great summer that was!
